Food truck craze hits North Shore

Last fall, more than 20 food trucks rolled into Stoneham Square on a Saturday in mid-October for the inaugural North Shore Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival. The event served as evidence that food trucks are no longer a phenomenon restricted to the busy streets of Boston, New York or any other big city. On the contrary, food trucks are showing up in all sorts of places, including the North Shore.By unofficial count, about 25 food trucks call the North Shore home, based either on the location of their kitchens or the residence of their owners.
